God always has a plan. Sometimes you get to see little glimpses of it in action or shortly after part of it has played out. Other times it is just too complex for our finite brains.
My dentist appointment for a filling (joy) had to be moved last minute. It ended up working out for them to overlap me with my grandma. This meant that my mom could give me a ride and watch baby j while I was in the chair. It also meant they could start my numbing process then tend to my grandma while it set in. This part was especially great because I have a high tolerance to medication, therefore it takes a while to kick in so I was very thankful for the soak in time. :)
When my mom was taking me home she was going to take my grandma first but I told her I had to take b to his treatment so we needed to go to my place first. By doing so we narrowly missed some heavy traffic on the freeway as a fatality had just occurred.
When I was driving b to treatment there was an ambulance off in the distance. We were cutting it close for his appointment time and the ambulance was quite a ways behind me so I continued on. He made it in time and the ambulance pulled up to the same facility behind us. So glad we didn't get stuck behind it!
While b was inside my goal was to run several errands. Baby j had other plans though and we ended up sitting in the target shopping center parking lot for close to an hour. Which ended up being a good thing because I had to go back and get b much earlier than planned. This also meant that I didn't buy any food like I had intended, instead we ate at home.
Isn't that just an amazing day?! Looking over it it was almost like being hand guided through a maze. :)
