I got a nice self reminder today. It is a wonderful thing to keep in contact with good friends especially when they move out of the area. I got to meet up with a goods friend that is in town to spend Christmas with family. So very thankful she squeezed me in! It was fun watching her meet baby J in person for the first time :) and boy did baby J ever talk and smile up a storm.
Strong friendships that pass the test of time are worth their weight in gold. Even if you are only able to occasionally check in, it is vital to keep a valuable friendship like that alive. You never know where life will take you!
